Kitron: Driving engagement in a global manufacturing company
How a structured rollout, real-time insights, and shared ownership helped Kitron shift from HR-led surveys to organisation-wide engagement
Rethinking the engagement strategy
Before switching to Eletive, Kitron had been using another engagement platform for several years. But as the company grew, it became clear that a more scalable and flexible solution was needed.
“We were growing significantly,” says Inga, “and we started rethinking the entire survey process and what we needed from the tool.”
The team outlined a clear set of requirements. “We wanted integration with our ERP system, real-time access to data, and the ability for managers to see results and take action on their own,” Inga explains.
Accessibility was also a top priority.
It was especially important that our production employees could participate easily.
In addition, they looked for a platform that supported multiple languages and allowed for flexibility in survey design. “Customising questions and making them relevant to different teams and contexts was something we considered crucial,” says Inga.

Why Kitron chose Eletive
Eletive stood out for its intuitive interface, real-time dashboards, and accessibility across all types of employees – from office staff to production workers.
“Some of our employees access the surveys through email or Microsoft Teams,” says Arturas. “Others, especially those without email, use the kiosk solution. That works well.”
One feature that made a big difference was the anonymous chat. “Managers find it really useful,” he adds. “Some employees are hesitant to raise sensitive topics in person. The anonymous chat makes it easier to open up those conversations.”

A structured rollout with record participation
Kitron approached the rollout in a highly structured way, starting six months before the first company-wide survey.
“We began by mapping stakeholders and creating tailored onboarding strategies for each group,” says Inga. “We also appointed super users in every location, mostly HR managers and team members, and ran pilot surveys to test everything.”
The team developed two training packages: one for managers and one for administrative employees. “We made sure people knew in advance how to navigate the system, review results, and take action,” Arturas explains.
The effort paid off. “Our response rate was around 88%,” says Inga. “Some of our manufacturing facilities told us it was the highest participation they’d ever seen – even though it was a new tool. That felt like a big success.”
From HR-driven to shared ownership
One of the most important outcomes from implementing Eletive has been a cultural shift in how engagement is handled across the organisation.
With our previous tool, the whole process was driven by HR. Now, managers have their own dashboards. They can review the results, access suggested actions, and follow up with their teams. Employees can also see results and take ownership.
That change became particularly clear when Kitron reviewed – and took action on – results from its first annual survey in Eletive. “One thing that stood out was the score on the Health driver,” Inga says. “While it aligned with external benchmarks, it was slightly lower than our other internal scores, which prompted us to take a closer look.”
As the team began working with the results, health emerged as a clear area for action. “Initially, some employees questioned the relevance of health-related topics in an engagement survey,” she explains. “However, as we introduced various health-focused initiatives, we believe it helped people better understand the connection between well-being and engagement.”
Turning insights into action
Eletive has made it easier for Kitron to work with their engagement data and turn insights into meaningful action.
“We’ve always had data,” says Inga. “But now it’s much easier to understand, visualise, and discuss with colleagues.”
“We use the heatmaps, export results to PowerPoint, and review trends over time,” she adds. “That makes it easier to prioritise and make decisions.”
Arturas agrees. “The dashboard is great. I can see the benchmarks and compare trends between surveys. The interface is modern, intuitive, and well-structured – it just makes sense.”

Smooth implementation and strong support
Both Inga and Arturas describe the implementation process as smooth, with strong support from the Eletive team.
“Arturas and I have implemented several HR tools before,” says Inga. “And I was really happy with the collaboration during onboarding. Even when our Customer Success Manager changed, the handover was seamless. Our new CS manager understood our situation right away.”
“The support team has been fast and helpful,” adds Arturas.
Any time we’ve had a question or small issue, it’s been resolved quickly. That’s given us a lot of confidence.
Looking ahead
Kitron is already using Eletive for engagement surveys, 360° feedback, and custom surveys – and plans to expand the use of the platform further.
“We’re definitely planning to start using the onboarding surveys,” says Arturas. “We appreciate the continuous rollout of new features. We’re eager to try them out and see what fits our organisation.”
When asked to summarise the biggest benefits of using Eletive, Inga and Arturas point to ease of use, greater ownership at all levels, and stronger team dynamics.
“It’s much easier now for managers to understand and respond to team dynamics,” says Inga. “That’s really valuable.”
People find the platform intuitive and easy to work with. The dashboards, the anonymous chat—it all helps managers and employees have better conversations.
Their advice to other companies considering Eletive?
“At first, we planned for a long implementation,” says Inga. “But once we got started, we realised it wasn’t necessary – the process was easier and moved much faster than expected. Our advice? Don’t be afraid to take the first step. Change can seem challenging at first, but with the right tools and support, it often goes more smoothly than expected – and the results are worth it.”
"Our people find the Eletive platform intuitive and easy to work with. The dashboards, the anonymous chat—it all helps managers and employees have better conversations."
